Is Daniela Ruah Returning To NCIS Los Angeles Universe ?

Daniela Ruah fans couldn’t contain their excitement upon hearing she has made a comeback to the NCIS team. We all know that NCIS LOS ANGELES Series was sadly canceled after 14 seasons last year, with fans waving a final goodbye to Kensi Blye (played by Daniela Ruah) and the rest of the team.

What we saw in the end was Kensi found a happy ending with her husband Marty Deeks (played by Eric Christian Olsen), having fostered Rosa Reyes (played by Natalia del Reigo), and discovering they were also expecting their first baby.

Since the show came to an end, fans have been curious to know what the other stars will get up to next and now it has been revealed that actress Daniela Ruah will be returning to the NCIS Los Angeles franchise again.

According to Daily Express, Daniela Ruah is returning to the world of NCIS LOS ANGELES for an “awesome” role. But rather than performing as Kensi Blye, she is taking on the crucial role of director. Yes, you heard it right. She is set to direct two episodes in the NCIS franchise.

The first will be the original drama, with the episode airing in March, while the second is NCIS Hawaii which will be telecast in April. She shared this news on the social media platform Instagram along with a picture.

One follower Scott Cook replied : “I would love to see Kensi and Deeks in NCIS Sydney!”

Another fan Sandra Genovese posted : “Yes Please Make Cameos on NCIS ️”

A third fan Kathi Wright Johnson commented : “I so miss you in front of the camera. You are going to rock as the director.”

This is not the first time Daniela Ruah will be seen in a director’s role. She made her directorial debut back in NCIS LOS ANGELES season 12. She then went on to direct six episodes before the drama aired its final ever episode on May 14, 2023.

In a recent interview with Deadline, Daniela Ruah says, “Kensi was born as a character on NCIS, 15 years ago, so now to be able to step onto that set again, as a director, with that incredible cast and crew, is an absolute honor. So many familiar faces and people I love, and they’ve welcomed me with open arms. It’s like coming home.” Fans will surely miss the NCIS LOS ANGELES SERIES but there are lots more drama waiting for them in other franchises. CBS network already confirmed both NCIS (21st Season) and NCIS HAWAII (3rd Season) respectively. As per our closed source, CBS’s new series will debut on 12th February 2024.
