We all know meditation is important for everyone. But, it’s a must for kids. Today I’m going to share a short guided meditation for kids. This meditation is just five minutes long and has calming music. Get ready to relax and join me on this lovely adventure of 5 minutes meditation for kids.
First, start by finding a comfortable position. You can sit up or lie down whatever works best for you today. Now let’s take two deep breaths together. Take a big breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Good job. Let’s try that one more time a big breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. It feels so nice to just breathe. You can feel your whole body start to calm and feel really good. Now imagine yourself in a place that you like very much. This could be the beach or maybe the park or even your bedroom. Just think of a place that makes you feel calm and happy. Imagine yourself there right now and let’s take two more deep breaths together.
Take a big breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. And one more time big breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Very good. It feels so good to just take big breaths like that. Remember the next time you’re feeling scared or angry or sad you can just think of a place you like very much and take two big deep breaths.
