Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior has retained a huge number of Screens in 3rd week too. There were two new movies released today Varun Dhawan’s Street Dancer 3D and Kangana Ranaut’s Panga. Later one is getting limited release which will be perfect for those sort of movie. Street Dancer 3D getting good number Screens as per its niche. Interestingly, both Street Dancer 3D and Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior were from the same distribution team.

Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior is ahead of Street Dancer 3D in CP Berar and Pune City. Whereas in Mumbai both has the same number of screens on average. In the other territories Tanhaji is retaining 5 to 10 Shows on average in each multiplexes including 2D and 3D Screens. In some mass belts, it’s getting more than 10 shows too. There were a lot of new Single Screens again added this week for Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior. There is a controversy going on in social media that Tanhaji Screens and shows have been reduced in a big way. This was completely false and vague news. Actually, full show allocation completed in the night yesterday and early morning today (Single Screens).

There were many new Single Screens added for the Third Week such as in West Bengal Park Show House, Regal Cinema, Krishna (Basirhat). Rupali Cinema (Gujarat), Vandana (Thane), Ashish, Ashok, Neelayam, Vikas all in Mumbai. There were many Single Screens which retained for the Third consecutive week few of them were Royal, Prabhat, Padma in the CP Berar region. Overall, Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior 3rd Week Screens count is around 2000-2500. This is a huge number in 3rd Week. The final count may vary depending on where the Single Screens number ends.

Yes, apart from Mumbai, Pune, CP Berar and Gujarat (partly) there has been a reduction of shows. But, the normal reduction of 40-50%. It will only help the bigger occupancy than before. Exhibitors have given more than enough shows to Tanhaji so that there may not be a capacity problem on Republic day, especially in mass belts. Obviously, in Maharashtra region, it’s still getting Highest Shows and ahead of Street Dancer 3D.
