This film had it’s international theatrical release on January 4, 2023, followed by it’s release in the United States on March 3. Operation Fortune – Ruse de Guerre scored $6.5 million in the United States and Canada, along with $42.5 million from other regions, bringing it’s global total to $49 million and is a disaster at Box Office.
In the United States, the film premiered alongside Creed III and Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – To the Swordsmith Village, with expectations of earning between $3 and $6 million from 2,168 theaters during it’s opening weekend. It generated $1 million on it’s first day, which included $220,000 from Thursday night previews. Ultimately, it debuted with $3.1 million, securing a seventh-place finish.
