Kevin Volchok, Marissa’s former boyfriend, forced Ryan and Marissa off the road, leading to a catastrophic accident. Their car overturned, and while Ryan emerged with only minor injuries, Marissa’s wounds were fatal. Ryan managed to pull her from the wreckage and carried her a considerable distance away as the car erupted in flames. Tragically, she passed away in his arms.
