Three years have passed since John Wick’s death at the conclusion of John Wick – Chapter 4, yet Keanu Reeves continues to reprise this iconic role time and again. The formidable and renowned assassin appeared to have met his end after eliminating the Marquis of the High Table. With his body collapsing on the steps shortly thereafter, and Winston alongside the Bowery King at his gravesite, it seemed clear that John was truly gone for good.

He is actively participating in the development of the project alongside Stahelski, and Reeves will also lend his voice to the character, as emphasized by his brief “Yeah” at the end of the game reveal teaser.
While specifics are still limited, the game is set to be a prequel narrative that takes place before the first film, enabling players to step into the shoes of the lethal hired assassin. The John Wick game isn’t the only chance for Reeves to lend his voice to the character in a prequel context.
Lionsgate had earlier revealed intentions for an animated John Wick film that will narrate the story of the “impossible task” John undertook to liberate himself from this realm.
