Although there have been instances suggesting that Knight and Palmer still harbor feelings for one another after their breakup, there hasn’t been sufficient evidence for NCIS to reunite them.
Additionally, it proves challenging to isolate them together, as they embody distinct facets of the work performed by MCRT. To make matters worse, Knight predominantly spends her time with Torres.
The absence of urgency indicates that a reconciliation between Knight and Palmer is not imminent. Naturally, this could shift based on the writers’ intentions. Nevertheless, considering their present circumstances, it seems unlikely that this will occur in NCIS Season 23.
