Kandahar, known as Mission Kandahar in Canada, is a 2023 American spy action thriller directed by Ric Roman Waugh and penned by Mitchell LaFortune. The film features Gerard Butler, who also serves as a producer. Inspired by true events, the narrative centers on a CIA operative and his translator as they escape Afghanistan following the exposure of their covert mission. Open Road Films released the film in theaters on May 26, 2023. Kandahar is a big flop at Box Office.
