Eric Christian Olsen, The Star of NCIS : Los Angeles, Has Faced A Devastating Loss

As wildfires wreak havoc across Los Angeles, countless residents, including notable figures, are feeling the impact, with Eric Christian Olsen among them. Last week, his wife, Sarah Wright Olsen, posted heartbreaking images on Instagram showcasing their charred home.

Despite the devastation, she expressed gratitude, stating they are “together and safe and surrounded by love.” She also shared that they have found refuge with Olsen’s NCIS : Los Angeles co-star and real-life sister-in-law, Daniela Ruah, and her husband, David Paul Olsen.

According to Sarah Wright Olsen, “We have lost our beloved home, one of the first places affected. Our children have fond memories of taking their first steps there. Saying farewell to our beautiful town, our cherished school, and the place we’ve called home for 13 years is incredibly difficult. However, we are immensely thankful to be together and for the overwhelming support we’ve received. The outpouring of love from friends offering shelter, food, clothing, hugs, and assistance for our kids has truly touched our hearts. It brings us to tears. Your kindness means the world to us. We will share more updates soon.”

Since January 7, wildfires have ravaged the Los Angeles region, particularly affecting the Pacific Palisades and Altadena through the Palisades and Eaton fires. These devastating blazes have not only forced thousands of residents to evacuate but have also destroyed countless homes and structures.

Among the casualties are renowned filming sites, including the mansions featured in Hacks and Succession, as well as the high school from Carrie and Freaky Friday.

Eric Christian Olsen is one of numerous celebrities who have been affected by the devastating wildfires, joining the ranks of Billy Crystal, Paris Hilton, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Adam Brody, Leighton Meester, Anna Faris, and others who have lost their homes.

In response to this crisis, many stars are stepping up to support their fellow Angelinos. They are opening their doors to friends and family, assisting first responders, and distributing food and essential supplies to those in need.

Eric Christian Olsen, known for his role as Marty Deeks on NCIS : Los Angeles until its conclusion in 2023, may not be in front of the camera as much lately, but he is certainly making waves behind the scenes. He is currently an executive producer for CBS’ successful new series Matlock, which has just been renewed for a second season after a record-breaking debut.

The show continues to thrive on the network, and while it remains uncertain whether he will return to acting in Matlock, it’s thrilling to see him play a pivotal role in its production.
