Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande’s friendship is going strong, and we couldn’t be happier! Cynthia appeared to confirm this during her recent interview with Dazed at Paris Fashion Week. She connected with the publication at the Balenciaga Couture Autumn/Winter 2026 fashion show on Wednesday, July 8, where she nearly confirmed that a reunion with her Wicked co-star is on the horizon.
When inquired about her favorite track from Ari’s forthcoming album, petal, Cynthia replied, “I’m still captivated by ‘Hampstead’ Heath from the last album, as it remains my favorite. However, I’m eager to surprise myself since I plan to attend the concert.”
She then disclosed that she will be attending one of Ariana’s Eternal Sunshine Tour performances in the U.K. next month, stating, “Well, she knows, so I’m coming… I’ll be back in London in August.”
Her recent update follows claims that the two powerhouse vocalists “hardly communicate” with one another, despite being inseparable during the Wicked press tour in 2024 and 2025. (Or, should we say, connected by the finger?)
A few weeks back, a source informed The Sun that the bond between Ariana and Cynthia was strained following their extensive collaboration on promoting the Oscar-nominated movies.
