Cocaine Bear, known as Crazy Bear in certain regions, is a 2023 American black comedy horror film directed by Elizabeth Banks and penned by Jimmy Warden. This film draws loose inspiration from the real-life tale of the Cocaine Bear, an American black bear that consumed several kilograms from a bag containing approximately 75 lb (34 kg) of lost cocaine. Cocaine Bear premiered in the United States on February 24, 2023, through Universal Pictures. Cocaine Bear garnered mixed reviews from critics and achieved over $85 million in Box Office revenue against a production budget of $35 million.
